Keith Warrender has written many books looking at unusual aspects of various places in and around Manchester. His first book, “Underground Manchester – secrets of the city revealed”, introduced Mancunians to a lost and mysterious subterranean world beneath the city streets. It is a fascinating introduction to everything from the canal tunnels that pass underneath Deansgate to the nuclear bunkers below Chinatown. The success of the first book inspired Keith to write many more books, not just about Manchester, but also further afield.
