Walking for Health 1

The Walking for Health group meets on the last Tuesday of every month except for December. Our walks are 3 to 4 miles long and are usually fairly easy going but sometimes mud cannot be avoided!

The walks are always accessible by public transport, so bring your travel pass if you have one. We walk in the morning and finish up at a pub or café where we all sit down to lunch. Of course, you don’t have to do lunch if you don’t want to.

Our group aims to give our members some exercise for physical health and some socialising for mental health.

Unfortunately our group is full at the moment therefore we cannot accept any new members. However there is a second walking group called Walking for Health Group 2 which currently has space for new members or alternatively, you can be placed on the waiting list for group 1.
