The Egyptology Christmas quiz and Egyptian food tasting took place on 19th December 2024. There was lots of discussion and some good answers eventually emerged. The food included dates, figs, grapes, maamoul biscuits, flat breads and baklava, together with less traditional Egyptian mince pies, which all went down a treat.

We were delighted that one member’s recent trip to Egypt, led by the u3a national lead for Egyptology, went so well. It sounded amazing!
