Manchester is a city of wonderful buildings, old and new. But it is also a city of lost buildings that range from the magnificent and the grand to the modest and the charming.

This talk will be illustrated with superb pictures, some rare and some never seen before. Jonathan will discuss some of the disappeared and demolished wonders. The talk will be also filled with great stories of significant people and some eccentric ones.

Jonathan Schofield has been a registered Blue Badge Guide since 1996 and is the Editor-At-Large of Manchester Confidential. He is also the Editor of Manchester Books Limited and has written several books on the North West. He is a regular broadcaster on local and national radio.
