Meetings are every Thursday 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. at the Upper Hall, Emmanuel Parish Centre, behind the Church. (Lift available).
Both learners and experienced players enjoy a wide variety of music and also join the choir for occasional performances.
We get great pleasure in singing together and acquiring a lasting skill
Actually we have fun!
Beginners with or without musical ability are welcomed and can be catered for alongside the regular players. A new member will be given advice about which instrument to purchase, how to read song-sheets and how to hold and tune their instruments.
Sitting alongside other players they will be able to join in strumming and singing the songs played by the group. For the first few weeks a new player will be given instruction and a weekly practice sheet for one or two new chords, along with some song sheets to practice at home.
